EXTENSION OF THE GRADUATION SESSION - 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

Published: Thursday, March 18, 2021

With the enactment of the Milleproroghe Decree, the 2019/2020 academic year has been extended to June 15th, 2021.

To implement the extension, the School of Management and Economics has established an extraordinary graduation session, that will be carried out from June 1st to June 15th 2021.

Who is eligible for the extension:

  1. Bachelor’s Degrees students who, during the 2019/2020 a.y., were enrolled in their third year or “fuori corso” (i.e. those who have not completed university exams within set time period), provided that they have not modified their career during the current a.y. (by changing or integrating their study plan);
  2. Master's Degrees students who, during the 2019/2020 a.y., were enrolled in their second year, or “fuori corso” (i.e. those who have not completed university exams within set time period), provided that they have not modified their career during the current a.y. (by changing or integrating their study plan).

Students enrolled in the 2020/2021 academic year are entitled to a refund of the university fees they have already paid. The reimbursement will be issued according to the rules indicated in UNITO Tuition Fees Regulations.

PLEASE NOTE

The extraordinary graduation session is not open to students who, for the current academic year - 2020/2021 - are enrolled in their third year of bachelor's degree or second year of the master's degree.

For these students the first available degree session will be in July 2021.

Graduation application

The degree application must be submitted from 22/03/2021 to 31/03/2021.

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Exams

Exams will be held in April, from 7th to 19th, 2021.

Before submitting the graduation application, students must consider:

  • the deadline for submitting the thesis, which is May 30th. Students should contact their supervisor to confirm the title and make sure they can finalize their thesis within that deadline;
  • the feasibility of taking all the missing exams: students should not have to pass more than three exams (including the internship), for a maximum number of 28 credits, excluding those related to the final exam (“prova finale”).

PLEASE NOTE: Students’ offices will check the careers of students who will submit the graduation application and will invalidate any application that does not meet the above criteria.
