Course objectives
The course is for beginners and specifically designed for native speakers of non-Romance languages. It focuses on developing basic language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in Italian.- Oggetto:

Students who had some previous coursework in Italian at another school or college, are heritage speakers, or have learned Italian through travel or independent study will be required to take a brief oral and/or written placement test.
!!! This course is NOT the official "Italian language 6CFU" that fulfills the foreign language requirement for international students. It is only a preparatory course and it does not have a final exam at the end. To fulfill the foreign language requirement, international students must attend "ITALIAN LANGUAGE 2 - INTERMEDIATE and successfully pass its final written and oral exams.
