How to activate an internship abroad

1) If you have been selected for an internship abroad but you have not won the Erasmus+ Traineeship, the Host entity (so the company that will host you as an intern) should send a request to stage.saa@unito.it, with “Application for internship” as email object.

Companies need to register on UniTo portal (www.unito.it) and the Job placement office will provide in English all information and support (registration on UniTo portal, signature of the Agreement, Training project etc.).

In some cases, depending on the legislation of the country where the internship will take place, the procedure does not require a Sponsoring entity (the University). In this case you can follow a different procedure, the recognition of work activity

2) If you won an Erasmus+ Traineeship scholarship you can start a specific procedure with the support of SAA Job placement office.

The documents that need to be turned in are:

  • Agreement for the Erasmus Mobility Traineeship
  • Learning Agreement

Regardless of the type of internship (case 1 or case 2), the credits of this experience will be recognized on your career.

Please note that between January and early March, SAA international relations office organizes several meetings with potential host companies. These meetings are open to all students interested in carrying out an internship abroad.

CdL Business and Management:

For students enrolled in 2019/20 a.y. or earlier the minimum duration of the internship should be 225 hours, while for the students enrolled in 2020/21 a.y. or later  the minimum duration of the internship  corresponds to 375 hours.
