❗️ First year Business and Management | Welcome information 22-23
Dear first-year students,
We welcome you warmly to the Business and Management Bachelor’s Degree.
We would like to provide you with some useful information for the beginning of the academic year 2022/2023.
LECTURES | The lectures will take place in SAA School of Management (Via Ventimiglia 115) and will start on Tuesday, September 27th, at 9:30 for Group A students and at 14:00 for Group B students.
GROUPS | Students are divided into two groups, A and B, as follows:
- Group A: surnames' initials from A to L
- Group B: surnames' initials from M to Z
Please note that in order to create balanced groups, this grouping may change after the second ranking list is published and repechages are over.
Further information will be provided by email and on the website (www.business-management.unito.it).

Information regarding classrooms and teaching material will also be available on the page of each course, on the website of each degree program ("Studying" > "Courses"). Please see below the link to the first term courses:
- Mathemathics for Business and Finance - group A

- Business Administration group B
(Please note that also first-year students not yet enrolled are temporarily allowed to attend the lectures).
TUTORIALS | Tutorial activities for each course will begin approximately after the first week of lessons. Further details will be available at the same link of the calendar of the lectures in the following weeks. Please note that you might be divided into smaller groups according to the first letter of the surname to ensure a greater effectiveness of the personal preparation.
LEARNING MATERIAL | Books and ebooks are distributed by the Students’ Office according to the instructions provided online or by email. Enrolled students ONLY will be able to collect the copy of the books available according to specific dates and time.
MOODLE | The learning material (slides and case studies) is available on the e-learning platform of the University, Moodle, and in the classrooms as well. Moodle is also a useful tool that allows the professors to communicate with the students.
To access this platform you will be asked to login into with your myunito credentials (select UTENTI dell’Ateneo) and then subscribe to each course of the year through the button ISCRIVIMI.
ENROLMENTS | If you have participated in the second call for admissions rankings will be published by September 16th. If you are admitted you will be able to enroll from Sept. 26th to Sept 28th by 3:00 p.m. To enroll you should login into MyUnito, click on "Iscrizioni" and then "Immatricolazioni". For the enrollment you will have to pay the first tuition fee installment (156€). If you are not admitted you will be added to the waiting list and you will have to wait for the repechage ("ripescaggi"). The calendar of the repechages is available on the Vademecum per chi studia a.a. 2022-2023
OFFICIAL UNITO EMAIL ACCOUNT| As a student of the University of Turin you obtain an institutional email account (usually name.surname@edu.unito.it) that has to be used for all official communications with the UniTO staff (professors, offices, etc…). We highly recommend that you become familiar with it.
